Mock Trial
I love doing mock trials. I started this activity 1.5 years ago, and now I have won several championships & runner-up. My mock trial career is pretty short compared to other mock trialers of similar achievements; but it is collaboration, dedication, and enthusiasm that push me here!
I used to take up attorney role exclusively, but now I do both witness & attorney roles!
I also founded the QDMAGIC Mock Trial Club at my school. As the president and coach, I led about 60 students to analyze showcase trials, learn the Rules of Evidence, and practice attorney and witness demeanors, aiming to not only help students passionate about social justice to better understand the judicial process that could have a huge impact on the delivery of justice but also express their voices on the court.

Better Call Us
Law Dissemination Project
After welcoming a transfer student, we found out he had sexually harassed a girl at his old school and shared her private information. The girl was traumatized due to her lack of legal knowledge and the inaction of her parents and school. To fill this gap in legal awareness among high schoolers, I started our campus's first legal education program to protect students and promote justice.
We evaluated student needs and organized relevant laws, leading to three main projects: a podcast called Hi Justice!; a mockumentary series titled The Law Between Us; and a manual named "Extrajudicial Fanatics are not Born That Way - Legal Guide for High School Campus."

Law edu through theatre
When a friend asked me to continue leading the SpotLaw program, I gladly agreed, eager to disseminate legal knowledge in Xiangxi through theatre.
However, the hurdles exceeded expectations—at the outset, our contacts left Xiangxi; we failed to recruit local performers due to scheduling clashes; we faced cancellation three days before launch following an emergency at our partner school.
Through relentless coordination with school administrators, the local government, and other local students, our team persevered, and as the curtains closed on our first play’s opening night, the audience shouted the show was even better than last year.
